Functionality Improvements
  • Support for macOS Sierra (10.12) was added.
Bug Fixes
The following bugs were fixed.
  • Unintended patch data sometimes being sent during a patch-selection operation was corrected.
  • The values of ASSIGN 4-8 settings are not correctly sent to the unit from LIBRARIAN.
  • Some keyboard operations failing to work properly was corrected.
  • Other modification to the behavior of the user interface were made.

  • It is now possible to copy and exchange PREAMP settings between the A and B channels.

DOWNLOAD AND EXPAND THE ARCHIVE FILE
Download the file named "bts_gt_m113.zip".
It is an archive file in zip format, please double click on the file to expand. After expanding the file, "BOSS TONE STUDIO for GT.dmg" will be appeared.
 
HOW TO INSTALL
* BOSS TONE STUDIO uses Adobe Air. If an Adobe Air-related screen appears during installation, click [ Yes ] to continue installation, or go to https://get.adobe.com/air/ to install or update.
 
When Using BOSS TONE STUDIO for GT Ver. 1.0.0 - Ver.1.1.0
Before you install the new version, you must first uninstall the version of BOSS TONE STUDIO that you're currently using.
* Uninstalling the program does not delete live sets saved in the Library.

- Verifying the Version
  1. Start TONE STUDIO, and in the lower right of the screen, click the [SYSTEM] button.
  2. Click the [Device] button.
    The version of TONE STUDIO that you're using is displayed.

- Uninstallation Procedure
  1. In the Finder, click the "Applications" folder.
  2. Drag and drop "BOSS TONE STUDIO for GT" into the trash.
 
  1. Double click the BOSS TONE STUDIO for GT.dmg just downloaded to start installation, and disk image will appear.
  2. BOSS TONE STUDIO for GT icon and Applications folder icon will appear.
  3. Drag and drop BOSS TONE STUDIO for GT icon into the Applications folder icon to add BOSS TONE STUDIO for GT to your Applications.
  4. Close the disk image to finish.
 
STARTING THE APPLICATION
  1. Turn on GT-001 / GT-100 Ver.2.
  2. Connect GT-001 / GT-100 Ver.2 and Mac with USB cable.
  3. Double click Folder -> Applications -> BOSS TONE STUDIO for GT
  4. Selection screen of connecting device will appear for the first time you run the software. (After the second time running, the device will be chosen automatically.)
  5. Select GT-001 or GT-100 Ver.2 and click [OK].
* Select "GT-001", NOT "GT-001 DAW CTRL"
* Select "GT-100", NOT "GT-100 DAW CTRL"
* The device can be changed from the SETTING.
 
If Liveset Are Not Displayed after Updating BOSS TONE STUDIO
The location where Liveset are saved differs depending on the period when BOSS TONE STUDIO was installed and set up.
If the Liveset created heretofore are not displayed after updating BOSS TONE STUDIO, copy all files in <Original Library> to <New Library>.

  1. Quit all running programs.
  2. Go to the Finder and click "Go" to display the Go menu.
  3. Pressing the [option] key on the keyboard adds "Library" to the displayed Go menu. Click "Library."
    * "Library" is a hidden folder, and so it is displayed only while the [option] key is pressed and held down.
  4. Copy all files in <Original Library> to <New Library>.
  5. Check to make sure that the Liveset are displayed in BOSS TONE STUDIO.
